Abbreviations used:

Communications status codes (COMSTAT):
$00 = no error
$01 = invalid data
$02 = invalid command code
$03 = device locked
$04 = device not locked
$05 = channel(s) muted
$06 = channel(s) not muted
$07 = checksum error
$08 = not connected

Operational status codes (OPSTAT):
$00 = no error
