Getting Started

Required Materials


To load Vernier supplemental programs onto your TI handheld, you will need:

A Texas Instruments handheld

The CBL supports several Texas Instruments handhelds. Program loading instructions are available in
Step 2 of this manual.

Cables

One of the steps in getting started is loading programs onto your calculator. You will need one of the
following cables to do this.

TI-GRAPH LINK Serial cable for Macintosh (gray)
Order Code: GLC-MAC

TI-GRAPH LINK Serial cable for Windows (black)
Order Code: GLC-WIN

TI-GRAPH LINK USB cable for Windows and Macintosh (silver).
This is commonly called the TI-Connectivity Kit.
Order Code: GLC-USB

Optional

AC Adapter (IPS) lets you power the CBL from a wall outlet.

Graphical Analysis software can import calculator-based data for further analysis and printing.

Adapters for older sensors not included with the CBL System (these are typically sensors with
round 5-pin DIN plugs).
