inStAllinG of thE ChilD SEAt With thE iSofiX-ConnECt SYStEm
The safety of your child will be increased using the ISOFIX-CONNECT system
linking the CYBEX Pallas 2-fix tightly with the vehicle. Your child will still be
buckled up using the car’s three-point belt.
note! The car’s ISOFIX anchorage points (j) are two metal rings per seat, located
between the backrest and the seat cushion of your vehicle seat. If in doubt please
refer to your vehicle owner’s manual.
note! Make sure that the green safety indication (b) of the connectors is not visible.
If necessary, release them by pushing and simultaneously pulling back the red
release button (y). Repeat this procedure with the other connector.
note! For additional information please refer to the section “SECURING THE CHIlD”.
– Push both of the connectors (o) into the ISOFIX-CONNECT guides (u) until you
hear them clicking into the ISOFIX anchorage points (j).
– Make sure that the CYBEX Pallas 2-fix is connected properly by trying to pull the
child seat out.
– The green safety indication (b) must be clearly visible on both sides of the red
release buttons (y).
– With the adjusting handle (c), located on the main frame (w) of the CYBEX Pallas
2-fix, you can now adjust the position of the child seat.
– You can now buckle up the child. Please refer to section “SECURING WITH SAFETY
CUSHION”.
– Connect the two enclosed ISOFIX-CONNECT guides (u) (longer parts pointing
upward) with the ISOFIX anchorage points (j). An opposite installation (longer
parts pointing downward) is also possible.
– Pull the adjusting handle (c), located under the seat cushion (d) on main frame
(w) of the CYBEX Pallas 2-fix.
– Pull the connectors (o) as far out as they will go.
– Rotate the connectors (o) by 180° until they point into the direction of the ISOFIX-
CONNECT guides (u).

A segurança do seu filho pode ser aumentada utilizando o sistema de
fixação ISOFIX-CONNECT. Os conectores ISOFIX vão prender a cadeira
CYBEX Pallas 2-fix firmemente ao veículo. O seu filho deverá ser preso em
qualquer situação com o cinto de segurança de 3 pontos do veículo.
Aviso! Os pontos de fixação ISOFIX do automóvel (j) são duas argolas de metal
por assento, situadas entre o encosto e a base do assento do veículo. Em caso de
dúvida, por favor consulte o manual de instruções do seu automóvel.
Aviso! Certifique-se de que o indicador de segurança verde (b) dos fixadores não
fiquem à vista. Se for necessário, solte-o pressionando e puxando simultaneamente
o botão vermelho (y). Repita este procedimento com o outro fixador.
Aviso! Para informação adicional, por favor consulte „PRENDER A CRIANçA.“
– Introduza os conectores (o) dentro das guias dos ISOFIX-CONNECT (u) até ouvir
um „clic“ que indicará que estão bem encaixados nos pontos de fixação ISOFIX
(j).
– Certifique-se de que a CYBEX Pallas 2-fix fica bem fixa puxando a cadeira para
a frente.
– O botão verde de segurança (b) deve ficar claramente visível em ambos os
botões vermelhos (y).
– Com a patilha de regulação (c) situada no chassis principal da CYBEX Pallas
2-fix poderá agora acabar a regulação da posição da cadeira.
– Agora pode prender a criança. Por favor consulte a secção „PRENDER A
CRIANçA COM AlMOFADA DE SEGURANçA.“
– Coloque as duas guias ISOFIX-CONNECT (u) (a parte longa para cima) no pontos
de fixação ISOFIX (j). A instalação inversa (a parte longa para baixo) também é
possível.
– Puxe a asa de regulação (c), situada debaixo da almofada do assento (d) no
chassis principal (w) da CYBEX Pallas 2-fix.
– Puxe os dois conectores (o) tanto quanto seja possível.
– Gire os conectores (o) 180º até que fiquem direccionados às guias dos
conectores ISOFIX (u).
