Configuration
Be advised that the wavelengths from the active CWDM transponder must
coincide with the correct optical port on the 6004 or 6008 Passive CWDM
mux/demux. The optical ports are clearly marked “Tx,” (transmit) “Rx,” (receive)
“the optical wavelength,” and “Composite.”
Using a singlemode optical jumper, connect the Remote Tx of the active CWDM
transponder to the Rx of the corresponding 6004 or 6008 optical port. Use
another singlemode optical jumper to connect the Remote Rx of the active
CWDM transponder to the Tx of the 6004 or 6008 optical port. For the
Composite port of the 6004 or 6008 CWDM mux/demux, connect the Tx and Rx
ports as shown in figure 4.
