INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Unfasten nuts and bolts that attach the handle and Hi-U extension. Keep the four nuts and bolts

aside to re-assemble in step .

2. Remove the Hi-U extension from hand truck; the handle should remain in the frame side rails

(Figure 1).

3. With the Hi-U removed, take the black poly foam tube provided in the kit and slide onto the Hi-U

extension, centering as shown (Figure 2).

4. Optional step: Once the foam tube is centered, tape both ends. Apply tape to approximately 2" of

the foam and 2" of the Hi-U (Figure 2). This will help keep the assembly centered and secure.

5. Apply the nylon cover by placing over the foam tube so that the word "Magliner" is on the top.

Make sure the Velcro strips are completely fastened together.

6. Reassemble the Hi-U to hand truck by slightly squeezing the legs of the Hi-U together and position

back in place in between handle legs. Note: Position the Hi-U so that the Magliner logo can be

read from the operating position of the hand truck.

7. Fasten nuts and bolts; tighten to 50-60 in-lbs. torque.
