Remote Operation from a Touch Tone Phone
You can operate the answering system from any touch tone phone. A
synthesized voice menu will guide you on how to operate the unit (p. 44).
•To skip the voice menu and
operate the unit directly, see
page 46.
Summary of the remote operation
Call your unit from a touch tone phone.
During or after the greeting message playback, enter your remote
code {p. 43).
•The number of recorded messages is heard.*
After 3 seconds, the voice menu will start (p. 44).
Follow the menu or enter the direct commands (p. 46).
To end the remote operation, hang up.
•The messages are saved.
*The number of messages depends on the current selected number of
rings (p. 18).
For the AUTO setting, the number of new messages is heard.
For all other settings, the total number of messages is heard.
