Note:

• To correct a digit, use the joystick to move

the cursor to the digit, then make the
correction.

• The date and time may be incorrect after a

power failure. In this case, set the date
and time again.

Time adjustment fCaller ID
subscribers only)

This feature allows the unit to automatically
adjust the date and time each time caller

information is received. To use this feature,
your caller ID service must provide caller
information, including date and time, in FSK
protocol. Consult your service provider/
telephone company for details.
To turn this feature on, select

“Caller

ID [Auto]

To turn this feature off, select

“Manual”.

Important:

• To use this feature, set the date and time

first (page 16).

Making calls

1 Lift the handset and dial the phone

number,

• To correct a digit, press [C/a], then

enter the correct number.

When finished talking, press

place the handsel on the base unit.

Speakerphone

1 During a conversation, press [<tr] to turn

on the speakerphone.

• Speak alternately with the caller.

When finished talking, press [%©].

Note:

• For best performance, use the

speakerphone in a quiet environment,

• To switch back to the receiver, press

[•%].

To adjust the receiver or speaker volume

Push the joystick up or down while on a call.

Redial feature

Previously dialled phone numbers (each 48

digits max.) can be redialied.

To make a call using the redial list

The last 10 phone numbers dialled are
stored in the redial list.

Push the joystick up or down to select

the desired number.

• If [nS-] is pressed and the other party’s

line is engaged, the unit will
automatically redial up to 11 more
times. While the handset is waiting to
redial, the ringer indicator will flash. To
cancel, press [^®1.

To edit a number in the redia! list before

calling it

Edit the number.

• Place the cursor on the number you

wish to erase, then press [С1Я].

• Place the cursor to the right of where

you want to insert a number, then
press the appropriate dial key.
