The MAINS switch and Foot Controller connector are located as shown in the following illustration.
Their functions are the same as those of the standard Disklavier.
The Disklavier Pro utilizes the same Control Unit as the Mark II XG Series, so operational procedures are
essentially the same, except for a few features described in this section. Please keep these differences in mind
when reading manuals (A) and (B).
Control Unit________________________________________________
Changes to (A) Chapter 2 "Names of Parts and Their Functions'
The functions of the buttons and parts of the Control Unit and remote control are essentially the same as the
standard Mark II XG Series (excluding the OUTPUT R, L/MONO connectors on the rear panel of the
Control Unit). See also the Silent Operation Manual for more details.

Set the MAINS switch to ON.
Press the [STANDBY - ON] button on the front panel of the Control Unit.
The following message appears in the display.

Turn your sound system on if you will be playing back Ensemble songs.
Your Disklavier Pro is now ready for use.
