you press 1

o You are too far from the base unit.

Move closer and try again,

o Place the handset on the base unit

and try again,

o Plug in the AC adaptor.

An alarm tone sounds
continuously while using the

handset.

*» Move closer to the base unit quickly,

or the call will be terminated within 60
seconds.

o Plug in the AC adaptor.

The unit does not work.

o Check the setting (p. 8-10).
o Charge the battery fully,
o Clean the charge contacts and charge

again.

Static, sound cuts in/out, fades.

Interference from other

electrical units.

o Set the handset and the base unit

away from electrical appliances,

o Move closer to the base unit,
o Raise the base unit antenna,
o Press to change the channel.

The unit stops working during
operation.

o Place the handset on the base unit

and unplug the AC adaptor to reset.

Plug in, then try again,

o Re-insert the handset battery within 5

minutes and try again.

The handset does not ring.

o The ringer volume is set to OFF.
