Presets: ! !
Basic comes with a selection of 48 presets to get you started. We’ve tried to show the full range of abilities of the synth, while
providing some useful and/or amusing sounds. In the VST versions of the synth, these presets are “baked” in to the software, so you
never have to worry about overwriting them. In the AudioUnit version, hosts that utilize AU’s “factory preset” feature (like Logic and
Live 8) will show the “baked” presets as Factory Presets. Due to the fact that some host do not recognize Factory presets, we have
cloned the entire package in to the Presets folder in the OS X library. In this manner, hosts like Live 9 and Digital Performer also get
the same set. However, these cloned presets can be over-written, so use with care. The net result of all of this is that Logic basically
has two sets of presets: the Factory ones, and the cloned set. Nothing to worry about. !

In any event, if your host is able to use both AudioUnit and VST plug-ins (like Live and Studio One) we suggest you use the VST
version. !
