OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before first use, wash Skillet in hot soapy water, rinse well and dry thoroughly. DO NOT

immerse Electric Skillet, Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord or plug in water

or other liquid. DO NOT let the Probe come in contact with water or any liquid.

1. Adjust Temperature Control Dial to lowest position.

2. Insert Probe into Skillet socket, pushing it fully in. Skillet Socket Pins must be fully

inserted into the 2 holes on each side of the Probe. CAUTION: If Probe is not well and

fully inserted in Skillet Socket, abnormal heating may occur causing damage to unit

and risk of fire and/or injury.

3. Plug cord into 120V~60Hz electrical outlet only. NOTE: Skillet will not function with

timer or remote-control system.

4. During cooking, Temperature Pilot Light may cycle On & Off, indicating desired

temperature is being maintained.

5. Always monitor unit when cooking. Never leave unattended.

6. After use, turn Temperature Control Dial to OFF position O. Unplug unit from outlet

and let cool completely making sure unit is fully cooled down, disconnect Probe/

Temperature Control from Skillet. CAUTION: Probe becomes extremely hot during

operation. NEVER disconnect Probe until unit has fully cooled down. NEVER

touch Hot Probe. DANGER of serious burns & injury.

We recommend seasoning Skillet non-stick surface by applying a thin coat of vegetable

oil with paper towel. Discard paper towel. Bring Skillet to medium temperature and let oil

absorb for a minute. Turn Temperature Control Off and let Skillet cool down. Repeat this

procedure from time to time.

• Do not heat Skillet to maximum temperature without any food or liquid in Skillet.

• Do not deep fry food in skillet

• Do not use metal forks, knives, spatulas or other sharp utensils in Skillet as this may

damage the non-stick coating. Always use plastic/nylon/wood utensils.

• Do not store Probe/Temperature Control directly on Skillet non-stick coating as it

could scratch or damage surface.

• Always use Skillet side handles, when moving or displacing unit.

• Do not wash Skillet with Probe/Temperature Control still connected.

• Do not wash Skillet or Probe/Temperature Control in dishwasher. Wash Skillet in hot

soapy water, rinse well and let dry completely before storing or using. Wipe Probe/

Temperature Control with a damp cloth and wipe dry.

• DO NOT immerse Electric Skillet, Probe/Temperature Control, electrical cord or plug

in water or other liquid. Do not let Probe come in contact with water or any liquid.
