RACLETTE

Raclette originated in Switzerland centuries ago. Traditionally Raclette consisted of melting

cheese over steamed potatoes, small pickles called “cornichons” and pickled onions.

Over the years and in modern days, Raclette has evolved to combine many variations

and different cheeses, condiments, meats and vegetables, cooked over a Grill top and in

Raclette Pans. A Raclette meal is fast and easy and a great opportunity for family and friends

to have fun eating and cooking together all at the same time, in a festive atmosphere. Each

person can cook their preferred foods to their own individual taste and experiment new

flavours by adding different spices, sauces and condiments. A unique experience that will

soon become a favourite in your home.

Although Swiss Raclette Cheese is the preferred cheese to use, we invite you to try different

cheeses, the only rule being to make sure you use any cheese that melts easily (Swiss

Cheese, Gruyere, American Cheese, Cheddar, Mozzarella, Provolone, Gouda, etc.).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Your new Cuizen CeraGrill was designed using the latest eco-friendly technology. The

Ceramic coated Raclette Grill Top and Pans are made with a non-stick ceramic finish that

will prevent food from sticking. Before first use, wash Raclette Grill Top and Pans in warm

soapy water. DO NOT use any abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. Rinse well and dry

completely with a clean, dry cloth. DO NOT immerse Raclette Base, Heating Elements,

electrical cord or plug in water or other liquid. DO NOT place Heating Base in

dishwasher.

We recommend to pre-treat the Ceramic Grill Top cooking surface and Pans before first

use, by applying a very thin layer of vegetable oil with a paper towel. NEVER apply any oil

to the underside of the Grill Top, only onto the Grilling surface. After first use, you should

not require any oil to cook food on Ceramic Grill Top or in Pans. DO NOT immerse Raclette

Base, Heating Elements, electrical cord or plug in water or other liquid.

DO NOT use metal forks, knives, spatulas or other sharp utensils on Raclette Grill Top and

in Pans as this may damage the ceramic cooking surface. ALWAYS use plastic/nylon/wood

utensils.

Assemble your Ceragrill Raclette Grill as follows:

• Place Base on a flat, level and stable surface, and as a precaution, on a heat-resistant

cooking surface such as tile, Formica® or other to protect surface underneath.

• Place Raclette Grill Top on Base over

the four base mounting brackets.

Make sure the Raclette Grill Top fits

flat and securely in place over all

heating base mounting brackets.
