s Switch on, select and measure
How to Calibrate?
Black/white calibration
s Select Setup – Calibrate – Black/White Calibration
s Place unit on black trap and confirm OK
s Place unit on white standard and confirm OK
Black/white calibration is requested every 3 months.
Cyan check
After a black and white calibration the instrument must be checked on the
Cyan standard.
s Place unit on Cyan standard and confirm OK
The Cyan check is requested every 7 days.

How to measure Differences?
s Select a stored standard or measure a std.
s Input standard name:
Change character ==> turn scroll wheel
Move to next digit ==> press scroll wheel
Move one digit back ==> press esc
s Input number of readings
s Place instrument on standard
s Press operate to take a reading
s Copy predefined settings for data display
s Continue with sample readings
Note: All color data inclusive spectral data are
saved and transferred to software.
s First page displays color
differences
s Scroll to second page for sparkle
and graininess results
