Measurement data are stored in the worksheet „Transfer“ .
• Start color-Sample-link and setup instrument connection in
“Configuration” with the „Search“ button.
Memory Transfer
• Transfers the sample memory of the instrument
• Select sample
➔ „All“ = Transfers all samples
➔ „Select“ = Allows to select the samples to transfer

Data Transfer
• Activate Macros:
Microsoft Excel 2000/2003 32bit: Tool – Macro – Security - Medium
Microsoft Excel 2007/2010 32bit: Options – Trust Center –
Trust Center Settings – Macro Settings – Enable all macros
➔ Icons must be activated as „Add Ins“
• Connect the spectro-guide / color-guide with the PC
Note: When using an USB converter, the driver must be installed
first without the converter being plugged in.

Online = Off Online measurement with input of comment
Delete Line Deletes all lines or one selected line
Delete Sheet Deletes all data in the selected worksheet
Green Check Instrument check with green standard

Setup Instrument connection – Select Language –
Activate transfer of spectral data
Tolerance
Input tolerances for data analysis
(independent of the tolerances in the instrument)
Help Online help
Online = Off/On
• Transfers data directly after each reading
➔ Select „Request for comment“ if you
want to input a sample name
• Measurements have to be executed on the instrument
