Inserting and Removing a CD or DVD
If your computer has a tray-load CD or DVD drive, perform the following steps:
1. To insert a disc into the drive, press the Load/Eject
’
button located on the
front of your CD or DVD drive or from your Internet keyboard.
21. Carefully lift the disc from its case by holding the disc only at the inner and
outer edges so that you avoid touching the surface.
22. Place the disc, label side up, (unless it is a double-sided DVD) into the round
area of the tray. If the tray contains support tabs, carefully slide the disc under
the tabs to position it correctly in the tray.
23. Press the Load/Eject
’
button again to close the drive.
To remove a disc from the CD or DVD drive, press the Load/Eject
’
button on
the drive or on your Internet keyboard.

NOTE: To manually eject a disc from a tray-load CD or DVD drive, gently push the tip
of a paper clip into the hole under the drive. Complete this operation while your
computer is on.
