Introduction

The YV-101A connects your component video source
(DVD player or Set Top Box) to your VGA monitor and
projector, which support 480i, 480p, 576i, 576p, 720
formats.

Features

Note:
Note that although the 480i/576i component video is
supported by the YV-101A, most PC display monitor
cannot handle such line rates. Typically, only 480p, 576p,
720p are within the displayable line rate range of a LCD
and a CRT monitor. Furthermore the scaler in the LCD
monitor tems must include a de-interlacer for it to display
interlaced video, such as with 480i/576i.

Installation

1. Turn off the DVD player or Set Top Box and monitor or

projector.

2. Connect the YPbPr extension cable between the DVD

player or Set Top Box and the “Input” port of YV-101A.

3. Connect the VGA

male extension cable between the

monitor or projector and the Video Out of YV-101A.

4. Connect the DVD player or Set Top Box and the Audio

Out R/L to the YV-101A “Input” port.

5. Audio Out connects the multimedia speakers or

headphone.

6. Connect the power adapter with the YV-101A.
7. Turn on the analog monitor or projector.
