AT HOME: the AC/DC power supply cable must be
plugged in the power socket on the right side of
the navigator.
Press the power key on the right side of the
navigator. If the navigator still does not turn on,
Reset it. To reset, press with the point of a pen
the Reset hole.
• If the navigator won’t turn on at this point, then
contact the AvMap customer care
6.3 The navigator gives back this messages
“Error during the route calculation”
This message is displayed when the software cannot
complete the route calculation for some reason. The
most common causes are:
• The departure is set in a closed road or in a
walkway.
• The destination is set in a closed road or in a
walkway.
Check both departure and destination, correct them
and try again.
6.4 The navigator does not receive the GPS
signal, or the acquisition takes longer than
expected
• Make sure the navigator is correctly positioned in
the suction cup holder, so that it can “’see’ the sky.
• Make sure there are not obstacles for the Gps
reception. A GPS Fix cannot be reached in a closed
building, in garages or in tunnels.
• If you are moving try to stop the car and wait for
the navigator to get the signal. It is easier and faster
to get a fix standing still. To check which satellites
