Installing it properly

ikWARNING

Personal Injury Hazard

Because your dehumidifier weighs
between 50 lbs (22.5 kg) and 75 lbs
(33.75 kg), depending on the amount

of water collected in the pan, it is
recommended that you use proper

lifting techniques when lifting or moving

your unit.

Failure to do so could result in personai
injury.

1. Allow at least 12 Inches (30.5 cm) of

space on all sides of the unit for good
air circulation.

2. Install your dehumIdIfier on a floor,

table, or shelf. When installing the
dehumidifier on a table or shelf, make

sure the table or shelf is strong enough
to support the weight of the dehumidifier

with a full water pan (50 to 75 lbs [28.5
to 33.75 kg]). Do not sit or stand on the
dehumidifier.

NOTE: The height of a tabie or sheif

might provide a better position from which

to handie the water pan and help prevent

icing of the coils due to colder air near the

floor (such as in a basement).

3. Keep all outside doors, windows,

and other openings closed when the
dehumidifier is operating. Humid outdoor

air will add to the dehumidifier’s operating
load.

4. The water pan must be properly

positioned on the hangers inside the

cabinet in order for the automatic shutoff
to operate correctly.

5. Two rollers let you move the dehumidi

fier easily. Remove the water pan, tilt
the unit fonward, and roll it to another
position.
