8. Touch START.
The Display will show "COOL" to
show the food is less than 90°F.
As the food cooks, the Display will
show the internal temperature of
the food for every 5°F increase.

When the probe senses the tempera­
ture you selected, the oven shuts off.
"End" will show on the Display and 4
beeps will sound. (You can stop the
beeping by opening the door or by
touching CANCEL.) "End” will remain
on the Display and a beep will sound
every 60 seconds (to remind you that
food is left in the oven) until the door is
opened or CANCEL is touched. The
Display will then show the time of day.
NOTE: “Err” will be displayed after START Is touched, if an incorrect temperature has been
selected (under 90°F or over 200°F).
Hints for using the temperature probe

' use hot pads when removing probe from

cover roasts with foil and let stand a few
minutes after microwave cooking. Remove
foil if you decide to cook it longer,
remove the probe from the oven when not
cooking by temperature.

away from probe with wooden toothpicks.
Remove foil if arcing occurs,
use paper, plastic wrap or plastic containers.
They will be in the oven too long,
force probe into frozen foods,
use probe for foods that need to simmer.
NOTE: Some foods are started using a timed cycle and finished by using a temperature cycle. You
can set PROBE TEMP to follow COOK or QUICK DEFROST, to avoid the need to reset the oven half
way through cooking. PROBE TEMP can be programmed with the temperature probe out. The oven
will then pause between cycles. “Prob” will show on the Display to remind you to plug in the probe.
Touch START to continue cooking.
Changing the temperature setting
When using the Temperature Probe, PROBE TEMP settings can be changed before or during
operation.
-Touch PROBE TEMP
- Touch number for new temperature.
- Touch START. The oven will continue cooking to the new temperature. If the new temperature is
lower than the temperature of the food, the oven will shut off.
