This unit can be powered from three kinds of power supplies; batteries, mains power or car
battery.
The manganese dry cell batteries which have low capacity {short service life) are not suitable
for use with the unit.
This unit holds the stored memory even while the power is set to OFF, and consumes a very
small amount of power. Therefore, if the unit is not to be used for a long period {for more than
one week), remove the batteries out of the unit.
' Never use an AC adapter other than the AC adapter
provided with this unit.
^ When the unit is not used, unplug the AC adapter from
the power outlet.

Open the cover.

Insert R6/"AA"{or LR6)-
size batteries.

Be careful not to invert the 0 and © polarity.
^ Always replace both batteries at a time.
