Operating the Radio

Note: Fully extend the FM wire antenna for best FM

reception. Rotate the radio, as required, for best AM

reception.

1. Mode switch - Set to ON. The Dial Pointer lights.

2. Band switch - Set to AM or FM as desired.

3. Tuning control - Rotate to select desired station on

appropriate diai scale. Tune station for maximum
clarity.

4. Volume control - Adjust for desired volume level.

5. To turn off the radio, set the Mode switch to OFF or

ALARM.

1. Set alarm time as desired. (See Setting Alarm Time.)

2. Perform steps 1 through 4 of Operating the Radio.

3. Wake switch - Set to RADIO.

4. Mode switch - Set to ALARM. A music note {

will appear on the display

indicating the radio alarm

function is on. The radio is now set to come on
automatically at the alarm time selected.

Note: The radio will play for approximately 1 hour and

turn off automatically. This cycle repeats every 24

hours unless the controls are changed. To play the
radio after the one-hour auto period, set the Mode
switch to ON. Remember to reset the Mode switch to

ALARM so the radio will come on automatically the next

day.

5. Alarm Reset button - Press to turn off the radio. The

radio will come on again the next day automatically at

the same time.
