GETTING STARTED

AC CONNECTION

Insert the small end of the AC adapter into

the DC IN jack on the side of the unit. Insert

the other end (with the 2 blades) into a

conveniently located AC outlet having 120

VAC, 60Hz.

NOTES:

Use the enclosed AC adapter for this

product only.

Remove both DC plug and AC-IN plug to

disconnect the AC adapter when not

using.

BATTERY PACK

The battery pack cannot be removed, it is built into the unit.

BATTERY INDICATOR

When using the rechargeable battery, the LOW BATTERY indicator will blink when the

battery pack is low and needs recharging. When it blinks, you have approximately five

minutes of playing time left.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

Insert the small end of the AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the side of the unit and

turn the unit off for best results. Insert the other end (with the 2 blades) into a

conveniently located AC outlet having 120V AC, 60Hz. The CHARGING indicator will

light red as the battery is charging and the FULL indicator will light green when

charging has completed. Disconnect the AC adapter plugs when the charging has

finished.

NOTES:

• Fully charge the built-in NiMH battery pack (10-15 hours) before using it for the first

time.

• It is highly recommended to turn the unit off when recharging the batteries.

• This Ni-MH rechargeable battery will not be fully charged the first time, so the

discharging time will be short. The battery will take a full charge after four to five

times of charging or discharging.

• After a period of storage or if not used for a period, repeat the above mentioned

steps to get the battery back to normal charging condition.

THIS UNIT CONTAINS NIMH BATTERY PACK; DISPOSE THIS UNIT PROPERLY.
