assembly.

Apply plastic cement

to nose cone insert
as shown.

1. ASSEMBLE NOSE CONE

B.

Slide nose cone insert into nose

cone. Wipe away excess
cement. Let dry.

2. INSTALL SHOCK CORD

A.

Tie a double knot

in one end of
shock cord.

B.

Pass the free end of the shock cord

through shock cord mount in body half
B until the knot is against shock cord
mount of body.

C.

Tie the free end to the

nose cone using a
double knot.

3. ASSEMBLE BODY HALVES

A.

Apply plastic cement

to body half A as
shown.

B.

Align pegs with holes

in and press halves
together. Hold until
cement dries
completely.

C.

Apply plastic cement to area shown

on body tube. Attach launch lug
and wipe away excess cement.
Let dry completely.

4. PREPARE STREAMER FOR FLIGHT

NOTE: Only Estes
Wadding (302274)
recommended.

IMPORTANT: Wadding must be in place and slide freely for rocket to work properly.

HELPFUL HINT:

IF NOSE CONE FIT IS. . .

SAND FOR FIT.

A.

Tie streamer to shock cord 1”

(25 mm) from nose cone.

B.

Insert 1/4-1/2 squares of

loosely crumpled recovery

wadding into rocket body.

C.

Fold streamer.

D.

Roll.

E.

Insert streamer, shock

cord and nose cone into

rocket body.

NOTE: Streamer should slide easily
into body. If fit is too tight, remove
streamer and repack again.
