For 110-125 Volt Operation
Rotate the dual voltage switch to the 125 posi -
tion. In this position, the dryer has two settings.
It provides two speeds and two heats—lo w
speed and low heat on LO and high speed and
high hea t on HI.
For 220-250 Volt Operation
First put the HI-LO switch into LO. Rota te the
dual volta ge switch to the 250 position. At 220-
250V while set at LO, the dryer operates only at
high speed with high heat. Do not attempt to
operate the HI-LO switch or change to 125
when operating on 220-250V . The switches
must be set and remain in the LO and 250
positions. A plug ada pter may be necessar y in
certain countries.
USER
MAINTENANCE
Your dryer is virtually maintenance free. No
lubrication is needed. For proper opera ting
performance, the dryer must be kept clean.
When cleaning is needed, unplug the cord,
allow to cool and clean dust and lint from air
intake openings with a small brush or the brush
attachment of a vacuum cleaner . The outer
surface of the dr yer should be wiped clean with
a cloth only.
Blocked or clogged air intake vents will
cause the dryer to overheat. If overheating
occurs, an automatic safety device will shut
the dr yer or the hea t off to prevent damage or
personal injur y. If the unit or the heat c ycles off,
unplug the cord and allow the dr yer to cool for
10 to 15 minutes before restarting. Make sure
the air vents are clean.
CAUTION
NEVER allo w the power supply cord to be
pulled, twisted, or severely bent. Never wrap the
cord tightly around the dryer . Dama ge will occur
at the high flex point of entry into the dryer ,
causing it to rupture and short. Inspect the cord
frequently for damage. Stop use immediately
if damage is visible or unit stops or operates
intermittently.
If the cord or dryer is dama ged or does not
operate properly, return it for repair to an autho -
rized Conair service representative only. No
repairs should be attempted by the consumer.
STORAGE - Important
When not in use, your dryer should be discon-
nected, allo wed to cool and stored in a safe, dr y
location, out of reach of children. Do not wrap
line cord around dr yer. Allo w the cord to hang
or lie loose and straight at the point of entr y into
the dr yer.
LIMITED TWO-YEAR WARRANTY
Conair will repair or replace (a t our option)
your unit free of charge for 24 months from
the da te of purchase if the appliance is
defective in workmanship or materials.
To obtain ser vice under this warranty , return
the defective product to the ser vice center
listed belo w, together with your purchase
receipt and $7.00 for postage and handling.
California residents need only provide proof
of purchase and should call 1-800-3-CONAIR
for shipping instructions. In the absence of a
purchase receipt, the warranty period shall
be 24 months from the da te of manufacture.

INFORMACIóN ADICIONAL
PARA LOS APARATOS DE DOBLE VOLTAJE
Coloque el selector de voltaje sobre 125 para uso
en los Estados Unidos. Para uso en países con
sistemas eléctricos de 250 voltios, coloque el
selector sobre 250. Averigüe el nivel de la corriente
antes de usar el aparato. Para usar el aparato
con un sistema de 250 voltios, use un adaptador
adecuado.
Operación 110-125 voltios
Coloque el selector de voltaje sobre 125. El
aparato funcionará con dos ajustes de calor
y de velocidad: calor y velocidad bajos (LO) y
calor y velocidad altos (HI).
Operación 220-250 voltios
Coloque el interruptor en la posición LO y el
selector de voltaje sobre 250. El aparato funcio-
nará con calor y velocidad altos únicamente. No
cambie la velocidad o la selección de voltaje
cuando use el aparato con un sistema de
220-250 voltios. Póngalos y déjelos en las
posiciones LO y 250. Un adaptador puede ser
necesario en ciertos países.
INSTRUCCIONES DE
MANTENIMIENTO
Su secador casi no necesita mantenimiento.
No necesita lubricación. Para que funcione cor-
rectamente, debe mantenerlo limpio. Cuando
sea necesario limpiarlo, desconéctelo, permita
que enfríe y saque el polvo y las pelusas de las
aberturas de aire con un cepillo pequeño o el
cepillo accesorio de una aspiradora. La super-
ficie exterior del secador sólo se debe limpiar
con un paño limpio.
El secador se recalentará si las aberturas
de aire están bloqueadas u obstruidas. En
tal caso, un sistema de seguridad automático
apagará el secador o cortará la temperatura
para evitar daños o lesiones personales. Si
esto ocurriera, desenchufe el aparato y permita
que enfríe durante 10 a 15 minutos antes de
encenderlo de nuevo. Asegúrese que las venti-
laciones de aire estén limpias.
PRECAUCIóN
NUNCA jale, retuerza ni doble mucho el cable
eléctrico. Nunca lo enrolle con fuerza alrededor
del secador. Esto podría dañar la junta flexible
que lo conecta al secador, produciendo su rup-
tura o un cortocircuito. Inspeccione el cable con
frecuencia para asegurarse que no esté dañado.
Deje de usar el aparato inmediatamente si
el cable parece dañado, si el aparato deja de
funcionar o funciona de manera intermitente.
Si el cable o el aparato están dañados o no fun-
cionan correctamente, mande el aparato a
un centro de servicio autorizado únicamente.
No trate de repararlo.
ALMACENAJE – IMPORTANTE
Después de usar el aparato, desconéctelo, permita
que enfríe y guárdelo en un lugar seco y seguro,
fuera del alcance de los niños. No enrolle el cable
alrededor del aparato. Deje que el cable cuelgue
o que la junta que lo conecta al secador esté suel-
ta y recta.

Conair reparará o remplazará (a su opción) su
aparato sin cargo por un período de 24 meses
