Inserting the Battery
To insert your battery into the battery compartment, complete the following steps:
1. Push down on the battery compartment door to remove the door.

2. Insert the new battery
1 into the battery compartment with the label side
turned up.

NOTE: Only Compaq 1600 Series Mobile Internet PC batteries should be installed in
your computer.
3. Close the battery compartment door
2 by gently pushing up on the door until it
snaps into place.
