the Number 2 button to record in LP speed, or press the

Number 3 button to record in SLP speed.

speed are on page 32. You cannot use the SPEED button at this

Press the STATUS/EXIT button.

PLETED PLEASE TURN OFF FOR TIMER RECORDING will

appear on-screen.

• If there is not a tape in the TV/VCR, PLEASE INSERT CASSETTE

also appears on-screen.

• If there is a tape without a record tab in the TV/VCR, PLEASE

REMOVE CASSETTE also appears on-screen. If this happens,

insert a different tape.

• If PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED appears, start again at step I.

TheTV/VCR

must

be

off for a timer record­

ing! Make sure there is

a tape in theTV/VCR.

Turn off theTV/VCR power.

The REC(ord) light will flash. If you

forget to turn off theTV/VCR, PLEASE TURN OFF FOR TIMER

RECORDING appears on theTV/VCR screen two minutes before

a timer recording starts.

Helpful H ints

PROGRAM NOT COMPLETED /

CLASH may appear on-screen when

you finish setting a timer recording.

This means that the timer recording

you just programmed and another

timer recording overlap, and thus

the current timer recording will not

be carried out.

To stop a started timer recording,

press the STOPIEJECT button on

the TV/VCR.
