ASSEMBLY
NOTE: References to right or left side of the snow thrower are
determined from behind the unit in the operating position (standing
directly behind the snow thrower, facing the handle panel).
Removing From Carton
1. Cut the corners of the carton and lay the sides flat on the ground.
Remove and discard all packing inserts.
2. Move the snow thrower out of the carton.
3. Make certain the carton has been completely emptied before
discarding it.
Setting up Snow Thrower
1. Observe the lower rear area of the snow thrower to be sure both
cables are aligned with roller guides before pivoting the handle
upward. See Figure 1.
2. Secure the handle by tightening the plastic knob located on both
the left and right sides of the handle. Remove and discard any
rubber bands, if present. They are for packaging purposes only.

3. Remove wing nut and hex screw from chute control assembly and
clevis pin and cotter pin from chute support bracket. See Figure 3.
