Charge the Battery for the First Time
Before using your handset for the first time, the battery must be continuously
charged for 15 to 20 hours. (After the battery is charged for the first time, it will
only take five to six hours for the battery to be fully recharged.)

Install the battery in the handset. Go to
“Install the Handset Battery” on

Place the handset in the charger unit.

Ensure that the Handset LED lights blue. If it does not, make sure that the
AC adapter is plugged in and that the Handset is making good contact with
the charger unit.
