disc facing up or down, as long as the stem
attachment plate is on the side of the disc
closest to you. See drawing on previous
page. Practice placing the discs into the
holder, following the instructions above, until
you are comfortable inserting and removing
discs from the holder.

Never try to force a disc into the Disc Holder.
If inserted correctly, the disc will slide easily
into the slot. Slide the disc straight into a slot.
Discs will sit correctly and safely only when
inserted this way.

Note: Discs with fixed stems will not
fit into the Disc Holder. Discs for food
processors with bowl capacities larger
than 14 cups will not fit into the
Disc Holder.

REMOVING DISCS

To remove a disc, grasp the disc by the edge
and slide out gently, carefully avoiding the
cutting area.

CAUTION: NEVER GRASP DISC BY THE
BLADE EDGE.

USING THE DISC HOLDER
WITH ADDITIONAL
DISC HOLDERS

For expanded storage capacity, the Cuisinart

®

Disc Holder can be used with additional Disc
Holders. The holder was designed so that it

can be stacked on top of another Disc Holder
to create an attractive storage center to suit
your food processor disc storage needs.

CLEANING AND CARE

The Disc Holder is made of a high-impact
plastic that has a smooth, easy-to-clean
surface. Occasionally wipe your Disc Holder
with a cloth or sponge that has been dipped
in warm, soapy water. To remove stubborn
spots, use a mild soap solution, then wipe
with a damp sponge. Do not put the Disc
Holder in the dishwasher. Discs should
always be clean when they are put into
the Disc Holder. The Disc Holder is not
meant for temporary storage of dirty discs
between periods of use.
