9.4 Network Setup
Network Selection: Set up Network Selection with
manual register or auto register.
Preferred Networks: Set up the preferred network to
be used.
GPRS Connection: Set up always when the
connection is needed.
9.5 Security Setup
You can set up security items for your mobile phone with
this menu to prevent your phone or SIM Card from being
used illegally.
SIM Lock:
When pressing On, the PIN lock password has to
be entered at every start-up, otherwise the SIM
Card can not be used;
When changing the setup, the correct PIN Code
has to be entered. After three failed entries, the
PUK Code has to be entered (individual
unlocking code). The PUK Code is used to
unlock and change the locked PIN Code; contact
your network supplier if the PUK Code has not
been provided or if it has been lost.
Phone Lock: the correct mobile phone password has
to be entered when turning on or restoring original
settings after locking the mobile phone.
