S90 – RTS to CTS Turn-around Delay

(Default = 2)

When the N0 command has been issued, register S90 defines the time interval between an OFF to ON
transition of

RTS and when the modem turns CTS ON. The S90 setting applies to Synchronous modes

only.
Range is 1 to 254 (X 10ms).

4.4.92

S91 – Call Progress Transmit Level

(Default = 90)

S91 determines the maximum value sent to the DAC when sending call progress tones. Range is 60 to
127.

4.4.93

S92 – Bit Mapped Register

(Default = 04h)

Bit 0 0 = Bell202 / V.23 receiver optimized for flat line.

1 = Bell202 / V.23 receiver optimized for 3002A line (unnecessary in versions 2901CL.01.36 and

later).

Bit 1 0 = Disables DTMF boost

1 = Enables DTMF boost (Sets VREF to 2.25V and TXboost when using 5V power supply).

Bit 2 0 = Disables Pulse dial.

1 = Enables Pulse dial (default).

Bit 3 0 = No Imprecise Tones detected (last tone)

1 = Last value before imprecise tones went off.

Bit 4 Ring Bounce

Bit 6 0 = ITU answer tone 180 Degrees Phase Reversal disabled.

1 = For ITU answer tone, 180 Degrees Phase Reversal will occur every 450ms.

Bit 7 0 = Does not preserve the user changes to the DSP filters between connections (default).

1 = Preserves the user changes to the DSP filters between connections.

4.4.94

S93 – Ring Interval Register

(Default = 20)

The value in this register sets the duration of the minimum ring interval in units of 10ms. Range is 1 to
254.
