When pipe diameters differ, depending on direction of airflow, join the pipes with either

a taper-type reducer or enlarger. Refer to illustrations in

FIGURE 9A and 9B for pipe

connection requirements at the concentric adapter box.
Do

NOT make actual connections until after reading the instructions and length require-

ments for installing the vent/combustion air kit.

The box connection requirements

are the same for both vertical and horizontal systems, but the length of the dou-

ble-wall pipe varies by installation.
