The optional end covers are designed to “close” the vertical space on both the com-
bustion chamber end and the exhaust heat exchanger end of the reflector length. End
covers may be attached before the reflectors are installed or may be added to an exist-
ing installation.

 IMPORTANT: If the
optional reflector
end covers are being
added to a system that
is already installed,
turn off the gas and
the electrical power.
Allow the system to
cool before installing
reflector end covers.
1. Position the reflector end cover over the end of the reflector that will cover the
combustion chamber tube. (See FIGURE 2.) Using the end cover as a template,
mark the hole locations on the reflector.
2. Remove the end cover and carefully drill four 7/32” holes in the reflector.
3. Re-position the end cover and fasten to the reflector with four screws and nuts
from the option package.
4. Repeat the process to install the cover at the exhaust end of the reflector.
If the system is already installed, turn on the gas and the electric and check for proper
operation. If the system is being installed, continue with the instructions in the heater
installation manual.
