INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove toilet seat from toilet bowl (if attached).
2. Thread one jam nut onto one end of each threaded
rod, letting about 1/2-inch of rod through nut.
3. Thread rods into inside threaded holes on floor
bracket (see illustration) until flush with bottom
side of bracket. Tighten jam nuts to floor bracket.
4. Make sure plastic cover is in place on threaded
rod (see illustration). Thread one jam nut and one
coupling nut onto each threaded rod at end oppo-
site of floor bracket. Allow rod end to protrude
slightly above coupling nut. This completes the
floor bracket assembly.
5. Fasten toilet seat and lid onto toilet bowl with truss
head machine screws and plastic hinge nuts.
(NOTE: Nylon screws supplied with seat are not
to be used in this installation.) Thread a jam nut
onto end of each truss head machine screw until
it touches plastic hinge nut.
6. Position floor bracket assembly behind toilet bowl
(as shown). The tops of the threaded rods should
be aligned with the bottoms of the truss head
machine screws.
7. Attach the floor bracket assembly to the bowl by
threading the coupling nuts onto the truss head
machine screws. The coupling nuts should be
threaded onto truss head machine screws and
threaded rods equally. Secure the coupling nuts
in place by tightening the jam nuts above and
below to the coupling nuts.
8. Be sure both toilet base and floor bracket plate
are flat on floor. Bracket height adjustments can
be made with the coupling nut.
9. Secure floor bracket assembly to floor using
appropriate methods (machine screws are shown
in illustration). Methods will vary according to floor
type. Make sure of clearances under floor before
drilling.
