You can set the over temperature thermostat using the Set Over Temp Limit control. This control is
equipped with a graduated dial (larger circles, larger value; smaller circles, smaller value). The dial
requires a flat-edged tool to adjust the setting to eliminate accidental changes. The Set Over Temp Limit
control is completely independent of the Set Temperature control and guards against a Set Temperature
control failure. A failure of the Set Temperature control can permit the temperature to rise past the set
point. If the temperature rises to the Set Over Temperature Limit set point, the Set Over Temperature
Limit thermostat takes control of the heating element and permits continued use of the incubator until the
problem can be resolved or service can be arranged.

Operating the incubator for an extended period using only the Set Over Temperature Limit affects
temperature accuracy.
