5. Taking care not to move the carriage, grasp both sides of the ink ribbon
cassette and pull it straight out of the printer.
6. Load a new ink ribbon cassette.
Selecting the Display Language
You can use the following procedure to select any one of five different lan-
guages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish) for display of message
text.
• All of the display examples in this manual use English as the display
language.
To change the message language
1.
Press SET UP to display the SET UP menu.
2. Use x and z to select LANGUAGE and then press SET.
3. Use x and z to select the language you want to use and then press
SET.
Storing a Partially Used Ink Ribbon Cassette
If you need to store a partially used ink ribbon cassette, attach its stop-
per, and then insert it into its original plastic bag and box. Keep it in a
place that is free of dirt and dust.
Number of Prints Per Cassette
• Upper label or lower label only: Approximately 40 prints
• Upper label and lower label: Approximately 20 prints
