Product Overview

Installation

Note: Supplying external power is optional, however to ensure

that each USB port is fully powered, connecting external power is

recommended.

*Supports USB Battery Charging Specification Revision 1.1 (Note:

Does not support charging the Samsung Galaxy Tab)

1. If not using external power, skip to Step 4. Using a small flat head

screw driver, loosen the screws for the terminal block connectors.

2. Connect the power and ground wires from your DC power source

to the proper terminal block connectors and fasten the screws.

The terminals are marked on the USB Hub’s housing.

Note: Please make sure the polarity of the input power should be

correctly matched with the terminal block pins to ensure proper

function.

3. Insert the terminal block housing into the USB Hub.

4. Connect the USB cable from the USB hub (type B port) to the host

computer system. With power being supplied (either from the

terminal block or USB host connection), the power LED should

light up solid.

5. The operating system should detect the USB Hub immediately

and automatically install it.

6. Once installation is complete, USB devices should be able to be

connected to the hub and recognized.

7. Mount your hub on the wall or DIN RAIL if required
