System Requirements

• Computer system with available 40 or 44-pin IDE channel

Installation

1. Insert the CompactFlash card into the CN2 slot on the adapter.

2. Change the jumper settings to match your configuration.

3. Mount the adapter inside your computer case.

4. Connect either the 40 or 44-pin IDE ribbon cable from your IDE

controller to the appropriate connector on the adapter.

5. Connect the floppy power connector (SP4) from your power

supply to the CN5 connector on the adapter.

• CN2 – CompactFlash socket (Master/Single mode)

• CN3 – 40-pin (2.54 mm pitch) IDE connector

• CN4 – 44-pin (2.0 mm pitch) SFF IDE connector

• CN5 – Floppy disk drive power connector

• LED1 – CompactFlash card-detect indicator

• LED2 – Read/Write activity indicator

• LED3 – Power-on indicator

Jumper Settings

JP1 – CompactFlash power source selection:

1-2 *

External power (CN5) or 44-pin SFF IDE connector (CN4)
