Shooting in Manual Focus Mode

The focus can be manually set.

Press the

button to turn on the LCD monitor.

Press the

button.

The

icon and the MF indicator will appear on

the LCD monitor.

Turn the main dial to focus.

• The AF frame area is magnified when [MF-Point

Zoom] is set to [On] in the [

(Rec.)] menu.*

• The MF indicator shows approximate figures. Use them as a shooting

guideline only.

• Adjust the focus by turning the main dial until the image appears focused

on the LCD monitor.

button a second time cancels the manual focus mode.
