4. Handling Precautions
Using this software for camera control requires a PC equipped with an RS-232C port. The RS-232C connector on the
camera is an RJ45 jack. A conversion cable is necessary in order to connect the ordinary PC's D-Sub 9-pin RS-232C
connector to the camera. To use this software to control the camera via its RS-485 port, the computer must be
connected to an RS-232C
RS-485 converter.
5. System Requirements
This program has been designed based on the following system requirements.
OS: Windows2000/XP
CPU:
Pentium III 600 MHz or greater
MEMORY:
At least 128 MB of RAM
FREE DISK SPACE:
At least 20 MB

6. Installation
Terminate all other application programs in operation before installation. Follow the procedures below to install.
(1) Terminate the application program in operation.
(2) Place the installation CD in the CD-ROM drive.
(3) Launch the following applications.
Use either Explorer or My Computer to execute the following files, or use the Start Menu in the Task Bar to select
"Run...." and enter the appropriate command. For example, when placing the CD in the "e" drive and installing the
English version:
e:\DISK_ENG\SETUP\CAMERA CONTROLLER_E_V110.msi
(4) An installer is activated.
(5) Click NEXT button.
Designate the folder into which the program will be installed.
(6) Clicking NEXT button to start installation.
(7) Click CLOSE button to terminate the installation.
(8) Activate the Camera Controller.
Select CAMERA CONTROLLER added from [ Start ] menu to activate.

for CAMERA CONTROLLER software and manuals (Installation, Setup, Operating Instructions).
This software version number can be checked on splashing screen at the time of activation.
Manual version number is printed on its bottom right.
