THE RISK OF SHOCK BY PROVIDING AN
ESCAPE WIRE FOR THE ELECTRIC CUR­
RENT. THIS AIR COMPRESSOR MUST BE

PROPERLY GROUNDED.

1 The air compressor is equipped with a corti having a

grounding wire with an appropriate grounding plug.
The plug must be used with an ouiiit that has been

inslaJled artd grounded in accordane» wHh all local

codes and ordinances. The outlet must have the
sams configuration as the plug. DO NOT USE AN
ADAPTER,

2. Do not modify the plug that has been provided. If it

does not lit the available outlet, the correct outlet
should be instated by a qualified eiectrician

3 Inspect the plug and cord before each use. Do not use

If these grounding instructions are not completely
understood, or If In doubt as to whether the compressor
is properly grounded, have the installation chected by a

qualified electrician.

This procedure is only required the first lime the air com­

pressor is put into service.

1. Set the presffljre switch OFF/AÜTO ieverto the ‘OFF

position.

Z Plug the power cord Into the correct branch circuit

receptacle,

3 Tlirrt the regulator clockwise, opening it fully, to pre­

vent air presBUf© build-up in the tank.

4. Move the OFF.iAUTO lever to "AUTO“. The compres­

sor will start

5 Run the compressor for 10 minutes. Make sure the

regulator Is open and there is no tank pressure build­

up,

6 After 10 minutes, dose th#

1. Before attaching air hose or accessories, make sura

the OFF/AUTO lever is set to “OFF" and the air

rggglator Is dosed. (Cioaa it by turning It counter­
clockwise.)

2. Attach hose and accessories.
