Depress Lift Lever Plunger at top of Mower Lift Lever and
move Lever rearward to its "HIGHEST" position (Fig.,
23).

With engine running and warm^ piace^ Throttle Control

Lever midway between "FAST" and "SLOW" position

Move Gear Shift Lever to "IST" Gear (Fig 24),
Flelease Clutch-Brake Pedal SLOWLY to start forward
movement.

If ground travel is too slow, move Throttle Control Lever

to "

fast

" position or press Ciutch-Brake Pedal to stop

and shift to a different gear. NOTE: ALWAYS SELECT A

2, Move Gear Shift Lever to ‘NEUTRAL" position-
3, Place Parking Brake in "ENGAGED" position. Raise Park­

ing Brake Lever and hold in "ENGAGED" position (Fig,
24), Release Clutch-Brake Pedal.

4 Move Throttle Control Lever to "SLOW" position
5 Disengage Mower Blade Clutch Lever

Pedal quickly to brake position and engage Parking
