NOTE: When using motors which have 1/2 in. die.
shafts, place the adapter sleeve (furnished with the
motor) on the shaft so that the slot in the sleeve is over

the flat spot.

Insert the shaft key (furnished with motor) into the

grooves in the shaft and pulley so that the end of the
key is even with the end of the shaft.

5. Tighten the set screw. Use a pair of pliers on the short

end of the set screw wrench for increased leverage.

MOUNTING THE MOTOR

1. Position the motor mount as shown and place the

motor on top of it.

2. Find four 5/16 in.-18 x 3/4 in. CARRIAGE BOLTS,

flat washers and hex. nuts, among the loose parts.

3. Insert the bolts as shown ... install washers . .. screw

on nuts but DON'T TIGHTEN them.

4. Using a 5/32 inch set screw wrench unscrew the PIVOT

screws as shown.
