HEATED DRY. Turns the drying
heater on for fast drying. Adds 31
minutes to wash cycle time.
Available on all wash cycles ex
cept Rinse & Hold.

NATURAL DRY (no-heat drying).
Saves energy because the drying

cycle does not operate. Dishes dry
naturally over a longer period,
such as overnight. Available on all
wash cycles.

If you need your dishes sooner,

open the dishwasher door after the
cycle is complete to reduce the
drying time.

Use of this option reduces the

electrical energy used by this

model approximately 7% for Nor
mal Cycle.

Estimated yearly savings, depend
ing on your local electrical rates,
are as follows;

• POTS & PANS—
For items such as pots, pans and

casseroles with dried-on or baked-
on soils. Everyday dishes may be

included.

It is important to follow the loading
instructions on pages 7-8.

NORMAL WASH—
For loads of everyday dishes,

glasses and cookware with
medium soils. Designed to yield

high performance on normal loads.

LIGHT WASH—
For most loads of everyday dishes,

with light soils or soils that have

not dried on. It saves hot water

over the higher performance
cycles.

RINSE & HOLD—
For rinsing partial loads which will
be washed later. Do not use

detergent.

□ Start the dishwasher.

If your dishwasher drains into a

food waste disposer, operate the
disposer until it is empty before
starting the dishwasher.

Slowly turn the Cycle Indicator
Dial to the ON position to start the
cycle. You will hear the motor
start.

Dishwasher will complete the cycle
sequence automatically and the
dial will advance to the OFF
position.

WATER TEMP BOOST LIGHT

Your dishwasher is equipped with
a system to assure proper water
temperature for good cleaning.
During the wash cycle, a heater is
energized to maintain hot water. If
the hot water is not at the proper
temperature at the end of the
wash cycle, washing and water
heating continue until the correct
water temperature is reached, or
up to 18 additional minutes in the
main wash cycle. During the
temperature boost period, the in
dicator light will be energized.
