There are 25 needle positions from which to choose. Use the needle
position that best suits your project! The needle can be moved to the
extreme right or left, or varying positions between. The needle position
can be adjusted for inserting zippers, as well. To achieve a close-to-the-
edge topstich, such as on a collar’s edge, move the needle to the extreme
right or left position.

Materials:
(1) 3” X 6” piece of felt
Procedure:
♦ Place fabric under the presser foot and sew approximately 2”. (The
needle is currently in the center position.)
♦Change the stitch width to 7.0 (notice the needle moves to the right).
♦Sew another 2” with the needle in the far right position.
♦Change the stitch width to 0.0 (notice the needle moves to the left).
♦Sew 2”, with the needle in the far left position.
