PRESSURE LIMIT CONTROL
(St 0 am Boilers Only)
'This control will shnt off the gas supply to the bur­
ners in the event that the steam pressure in the
boiler reaches the *'cut-out” setting. It will also
permit gas flow to the burners when the steam pres­
sure drops to the “cuHn"* setting. The range be­
tween these two settings is called the *'differen­
tial”. The cut-out pressure is equal to the cut-in
pressure setting plus the differential.
LOW WATER CUT-OFF
(Steam Boilers Only)
This control operates to shut off the gas supply to
the burner in the event that the water line in the
boiler drops to a low level. It also permits ga^ flow *
to the burners when sufficient water is ^dded to the
boiler, either by opening a water valve manually or
be an electric water feeder.
