Making the Electrical

Connections

REMEMBER to disconnect tltc power.
If you feel tlifll you do not lia\c enough

electrical u iring knowledge or experience,

lia\c your faji installed by a licensed

electrician.
Follow die steps below to coraiect the fan

to your household wiring. Use the wire
connecting nuts supplied with your fan.

Secure the connectors with clcctricid tape.
Make sure there are no loose strands or

connections.

1.

Connect the ground conductor of die

120\^ supply (this nuiy be a bare w ire or a

wire with green colored insulation) lo the
green ground lciid(s) of the fan {Fig, 9),
There are 3 green grounding leads; one

from the ceiling mounting bracket and

one from tlic ball/dowiirod assembly and
one from motor assembly.

Connect the fiin motor white wire to

the supply while (neutral) wire using a

w ire nut (Fig. 9).

Conned die fan niolor black w ire lo

the supply black (hot) w ire using a w ire
nut (Fig. 9).

Coimccl the blue wire for the lighi

kit to the black household supply wire,

Connect the three green wires to the

grounding lead wire.

6.

Timi wire nut connections upward,

spreading ibem apart so the green (ground)
and w lulc wires w ill be on one side of the
outlet box and the black and blue wires
will be on the other side, and push into
the outlet bo.\.

SUPPLY CIRCUIT

WARNING

CHECK TO SEE THAT ALL CONNECTIONS
ARE TIGHT, INCLUDING GROUND, AND THAT

NO BARE WIRE IS VISIBLE AT THE WIRE
NUTS, EXCEPT FOR THE GROUND WIRE.
