THINGS YOU OUGHT TO KNOW

WHEN YOUR C^UIC^F:C^HIL^L. ‘NSNC^C^H^E^ REFRIGERATOR IS INSTALLED

INSPECT

Inspect for shipping damage. If damaged or parts are missing,
notify your Absocold dealer at once.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

Remove all packing material and tape. Install on a level floor or

well-supported counter. Avoid any direct sunlight, heat source, or

moisture. This refrigerator is designed to be freestanding - that is,
the appliance is to be installed at least 14^” from the wall and the
cabinet bottom is at least to 1” above the floor or carpet, in
order to let the air circulate freely around the refrigerator. If this
appliance is recessed, t^uHt-in or otherwise enclosed to restrict
airflow, then all warranties stated herein are null and void.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS

120 volts, 60 Hz.

ELECTRICAL GROUNDING

(for 120-volt models only)
Must be grounded. Uses 110-120 volts, 60 Hz.
(60 cycles A.C.) Do not use extension cord. Use three-prong
plug, with three-prong grounded wall outlet.

Unless the above grounding method is followed, you are not
protected against severe or lethal shock, in the event of a short

circuit of an electrical component or wiring of refrigerator.

ADVANCED FUNCTIONS*

Advanced functions that can provide
you greater control over the

refrigerator’s operation:

SNOOZE function

Turns compressor off for 8 hours.

Push the SNOOZE button once.
Red light appears when it is

activated.
The refrigerator will be off for 8 hours.

During this period, temperature of refrigerator will rise, but

once 8 hours have passed, it will start back up automatically.

During this function, it is not recommended to place
perishable items in this unit.

To deactivate SNOOZE function, simply push SNOOZE

button again.

CAUTION

Should you unplug refrigerator, allow at least three minutes before
restarting in order to allow the start relay to function properly.

QUICK CHILL function

Turns compressor on continuously for 2 hours.

1. Push the QUICK CHILL button once. A green light appears

when it is activated.

2. The refrigerator’s compressor will operate continually for 2

hours. After this period, the refrigerator will return to normal

operation. This function cools contents faster than normal
operation.

3. To deactivate QUICK CHILL function, simply push

QUICK CHILL button again.

USE AND CARE INFORMATION

• TIPS ON EVERYDAY USE AND CARE

DEFP^O^T. As far as temperature control is set at ordinary position, evaporator is automatically defrosted and no manual operation is
needed to defrost. Defrosted water is drained out to evaporating tray on the back of the refrigerator and is evaporated automatically.
FORy^^LL C^LE^^NING. Mix 2 tablespoons baking soda with 1 quart warm water, or use mild soap. No strong cleaners, scouring powder

or pads should be used. For persistent odors, the Absocold service department has odor removal products.

BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE

Check plug and fuse. Test outlet with lamp or other device. Check red SNOOZE light (located inside of refrigerator). If this light is on,
compressor is off for 8 hours. You can turn it on by pressing SNOOZE button one more time. When you call, refer your model number
and the problem to the Service Department at your nearest authorized Service Center or contact Absocold Corporation at (800) 843-3714
or (765) 935-7501.

Reduce door openings.

Close the door as soon as you can.

Do not put hot foods in refrigerator.

Keep your refrigerator away from stoves or other heat sources.

WARNING!

Your refrigerator should be connected directly to a grounded electrical wall outlet.

No extension cords, multi-connection bars, etc. should be used.

In case of prolonged power outage or an electrical disconnect of any type, please check your refrigerator for spoiled food.
