VB-C500VD IP SECURITY CAMERA

Canon’s VB-C500VD is a fixed indoor IP security camera
encased in a vandal resistant housing made of strong
polycarbonate plastics (cover), tough alloyed aluminum
(body), heat-resistant polycarbonate and ABS mixture
(base), and secured with tamper-proof screws. Inside the
housing, the camera is mounted on a Multi-Directional
Shock Absorber, a four-spring mechanism designed to
protect the camera by lessening the effects of impacts
from various angles. If the dome is subjected to a blunt force,
the four suspension springs shift the lens’ moveable base in the
direction of the momentum to catch and displace the force of impact.
The VB-C500VD camera features an 82° wide angle Canon lens with 2.4x
optical zoom, a high-sensitivity progressive-scan CCD and exceptional low
light performance. This camera also features Canon’s powerful

NET

processor which enables the camera to simultaneously stream M-JPEG and MPEG-4
video encoding and transmission in high-quality VGA (640 x 480) resolution at a full
30 frames per second.
