Risk of injury

Connect and operate the appliance only in

accordance with the specifications on the rating

plate.

Do not use if the cord or appliance is damaged.
Keep children away from the appliance.

Supervise children to prevent them from playing

with the appliance.

Do not allow persons (also children) with

restricted physical sensory perception or mental

abilities or with lack of experience and know­

ledge to operate the appliance unless they are

supervised or have been instructed in the use of
the appliance by somebody who is responsible
for their safety.

After using the appliance, if leaving the appliance

unattended or if the appliance malfunctions,

ALWAYS pull out the plug. Do not place the

power cord over sharp edges or hot surfaces.

To prevent injury, a damaged power cord must

be replaced by the manufacturer or his

customer service or a similarly qualified person.
Only our customer service may repair the
appliance.

Make out-of-service appliances unusable.
Blade is very sharp. After switching off, the drive

continues for a short time. After work, set cutting

width to

0

.

Do not operate the appliance without the

carriage and “sausage end” holder.

Do not immerse power tool in water or clean

under running water.

Operating the appliance

Before using the appliance for the first time,

clean thoroughly.

Preparation

Place the appliance on a smooth,

clean surface.

Stow the cord in the cord store (9).

Remove cable from the two clamping

slots (

Pull out/push in cable past the cover

to the required length (

Re-attach cable end (

Insert the plug.

Attach the carriage (5) and “sausage end”

holder (8).

Set required cutting width (1).

Switching the appliance ON/OFF

Risk of injury from the sharp biade

When the appliance has been switched OFF,

the blade continues rotating briefly.

Never place hands near the blade.

Warning! Motor may overheat.

After a maximum 10 minutes of continuous

use, switch OFF the appliance and allow to
cool down.

The appliance and especially the blade

Cleaning

Before cleaning the appliance, pull out the

mains plug and remove the blade.

Do NOT grip the blade by the cutting surface,
but by the blade attachment.
